Your listings, profile display name, and other public trade details can be shown to other users inside the marketplace experience.

Private proposal threads are intended for the participants in that trade. Operational access may still be used when required for maintenance, abuse review, or legal compliance.

barter.cafe uses authentication sessions so returning users can stay signed in securely. Session-related information may be stored in cookies or tokens handled by the application.

We retain marketplace data for as long as it is needed to operate the service, investigate misuse, enforce platform rules, or satisfy legal obligations tied to account activity.

You can update your listings and control what you choose to publish publicly. Removing a listing from the marketplace will stop it from appearing as an active offer.
